I'm so excited. I just read the fourth chapter of A Severe Mercy. I think this may be what dear Nick needs. What a gem this is! I really think it could settle the whole affair for Nick. And for all of my other "artsy" friends--"tender minded," J W Montgomery calls them. What an incredible chapter. I'm going to give this book to Nick.
